WEST BEND
 — The Josh Schoemann for Governor campaign today announced raising more than $420,000 in the first two months of his campaign. Schoemann, a veteran and the county executive of Washington County, ended the first half of the year with nearly $340,000 cash on hand.

“I could not be more grateful for the support of so many friends and neighbors from all across Wisconsin in fueling our grassroots, ground-up campaign,” Schoemann said. “In just two months, we’ve shown that there is a huge appetite for a new generation of common sense leadership in Wisconsin — one that reforms state government, puts taxpayers first and makes Wisconsin a great place to be, not just be from.”

Earlier this week, Schoemann announced his Grassroots Leadership Council of about 40 grassroots leaders with representatives from every Congressional district across the state. Since announcing his candidacy May 4, Schoemann has already visited more than half of Wisconsin’s counties as he campaigns in big cities, small towns and everywhere in between.

In total, Schoemann raised $422,818.82 for the period ending June 30, with $338,071.09 cash on hand.
