Madison, WI- Yesterday, the Joint Committee for Employment Relations recommended approval of contracts for unionized building trades employees working in Wisconsin State Government. Since the implementation of the current approval process, yesterday’s actions mark the earliest these contracts have ever been approved. Senate President Mary Felzkowski, the new Co-Chair of the committee, issued the following statement:

“I am pleased that, in my new position as Senate President, I am able to facilitate the approval of contracts for these hard-working men and women.

As we all suffer through the economic ramifications of four years of Bidenomics on our state, it makes sense to approve these contracts as soon as possible to give middle-class, Wisconsin families more financial resources.”
