Senate Democratic Leader, Senator Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton), released the following statement on the Democrats’ Equality Agenda which was introduced today:
“Today, Democrats introduced our Equality Agenda: bills and resolutions that will promote equality and improve safety for LGBTQIA+ Wisconsinites. Standing up for equal rights and protections for our LGBTQIA+ neighbors is critically important, especially at a time when the Trump Administration is targeting LGBTQIA+ communities with hateful, bigoted policies.”
