Congresswoman Gwen Moore endorsed Brett Timmerman, KeJuane Jennings, Brady Coulthard, Marissa Nowling, Patricia Ruiz-Cantú, and Eddie Phanichkul for Milwaukee County Democratic Party leadership. She released the following statement:
“Leaders are caving in Washington. There’s money for everything except the families crushed by healthcare costs. The fight is far from over. We need leaders who will fight for families and keep their eye on the ball. That work starts right here in Milwaukee County.
The type of leadership we elect in the Democratic Party matters more now than ever. The Milwaukee Dems will benefit from leaders who are laser-focused on winning elections, building coalitions, and governing to the benefit of everyday Americans. We can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results.
I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Brett Timmerman, KeJuane Jennings, Brady Coulthard, Marissa Nowling, Patricia Ruiz-Cantú, and Eddie Phanichkul. They are dedicated leaders who share our values and won’t back down from the fights that matter. This team understands what’s at stake and they have the energy and vision to meet this moment.
I’m proud to endorse this team to lead the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County, and I encourage my fellow party members to vote for them. They will help us build the movement we need to organize, mobilize, and win.”
Individuals interested in voting for the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County leadership on Monday, November 17, must be dues-paying members of the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County and attend the Election Meeting in person at Washington Park Senior Center. Registration is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
