WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) released the following statement after the House passed the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act:

“I championed the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act from the start because it’s a straightforward, bipartisan solution that gets real, nutritious milk back into our schools and supports Wisconsin’s dairy farmers.

I was unable to be in Washington today to vote  in favor of this bill as my wife is facing serious health concerns and is undergoing further medical evaluation. While I could not be present, my support for this bill has been unwavering, and I am grateful to my colleagues for carrying it across the finish line in the House.

I look forward to President Trump signing this bill into law.”
