WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) spoke at Politico Playbook: The First 100 Days – Tax Reform. The senator discussed a potential three-step reconciliation plan and the need to simplify and rationalize the existing tax code.
Sen. Johnson discussed three priorities: avoiding a massive tax increase, funding our border, and bringing spending down to a reasonable pre-pandemic level. By “keeping it simple, you make it far easier to pass,” the senator said.
