Waukesha, WI – August 14, 2025 – Waukesha County continues to work closely with municipal partners to monitor community needs and support recovery efforts following the historic flooding event. The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains activated, coordinating with local governments, public safety agencies, and public works crews to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
Key Updates:
- Ongoing Coordination with Municipal Partners: County and municipal leaders remain in close communication to track needs, provide resources, and address emerging concerns across impacted communities.
- Property Damage Reports: As of today, 211 has received 892 reports of property damage in Waukesha County. Residents who have not yet reported damage are encouraged to do so by calling 211.
- Public Costs: Local governments in Waukesha County have reported approximately $4.4 million in costs to date for damage to public property and expenses related to flood response and recovery.
- Road Closures and Safety Inspections: Five county roads remain closed as of this morning. Public Works crews are actively inspecting impacted roadways to ensure they are safe before reopening. Residents can monitor road closure maps at https://tinyurl.com/WaukCoRoads.
- Damage Assessment Teams: Local officials and volunteers will be out in the community assisting damage assessment teams over the next week to document property damage and connect residents with available
