“This year’s state budget is delivering wins for Wisconsin—and the Republican Legislature led the way.
“First up: ARIP, the Agricultural Road Improvement Program. We protected this key $150 million investment to fix local roads and bridges that farmers, and all Wisconsinites, rely on every day. Our Republican budget team made sure ARIP funding reaches communities across Wisconsin where agriculture fuels everything from jobs to exports.
“Then there’s tax relief. We fought hard to cut income taxes for the middle class while protecting core services. This budget provides $1.4 billion in tax cuts, letting working families in Wisconsin keep more of what they earn. Governor Evers’ initial budget proposal; well, of course he wanted to raise your taxes
“Finally, in a huge win for my part of the state we secured over $40 million to help replace the Domtar Dam in Rothschild. This is a huge investment into flood protection, tourism, and local industry. The 116-year-old dam had been at risk of failing, and Republicans stepped up to ensure it wouldn’t be forgotten. This investment supports our paper industry and hundreds of jobs in the heart of Wisconsin.
“These budget wins are more than line items—they’re about safer roads, stronger farms, lower taxes, and protected communities. It’s proof that with responsible leadership, we can put taxpayers first.”
