Wisconsin AFL-CIO President Stephanie Bloomingdale released the following statement on the March 12 Supreme Court debate between Judge Susan Crawford and former Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel:
“The Wisconsin Supreme Court has the final say on a wide range of issues that impact every union member and working person in the state of Wisconsin. Judge Susan Crawford’s responses throughout tonight’s debate clearly demonstrate we can trust her decision-making process and know she will always make rulings fairly for Wisconsin’s working families. Her record shows that she will bring fairness, impartiality, and balance to our courts by making decisions based on the law, not politics. The Wisconsin AFL-CIO has proudly endorsed Judge Susan Crawford for Wisconsin Supreme Court.”
