WisconsinEye Public Affairs Network is pleased to introduce Anya van Wagtendonkas the new host of Rewind: Your Week in Review, the network’s weekly State Capitol and current events program.
Her role with WisconsinEye is in addition to her full-time position as Wisconsin State Capitol Reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio.
She brings extensive experience in covering the state Legislature, courts and elections. Her reporting can also be heard frequently on NPR’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered, The NPR Politics Podcast and Up First. She previously covered elections for Wisconsin Watch and has also worked as a national politics reporter, editor and producer for Vox and the PBS NewsHour.
Anya joins WisPolitics.com editor JR Ross in the Rewind studio. “It’s great to have Anya join JR on this insightful program. The program debuted in 2014 with veteran political reporter Steve Walters as the host, followed by former CBS 58 Capitol Reporter Emilee Fannon in 2021. Rewind is sponsored by the Wisconsin Realtors Association.

Rewind is streamed live on Fridays at 11 a.m. on wiseye.org and is viewable on Spectrum Cable Channels 995 and 363 at the following times:
- 8 P.M. on Fridays
- 10 A.M. & 11 P.M. on Sundays
- 6 A.M. on Mondays
