The News: WILL has announced Erin Gamble as our new Associate Counsel. Her hire reflects our organization’s commitment to fighting back against bureaucratic overreach in Wisconsin and across the country. Erin previously served as a legal clerk here at WILL and most recently as a civil defense attorney. In her role, Erin will support WILL’s litigation priorities and take a leading role in expanding our regulatory oversight and legislative engagement as we work to rein in the administrative state.

The Quotes: WILL President and General Counsel, Rick Esenberg, stated, “WILL continues to lead in promoting free markets and the rule of law here in Wisconsin and beyond. As bureaucrats continue to usurp power from everyday people, Erin, and our entire team, are ready to push back and hinder the government overreach that drives up costs and eliminates freedoms.”

WILL Legislative Counsel, Erin Gamble, stated, “It’s an exciting time to return to the WILL team as we promote freedom and prosperity by defending our country’s most treasured founding principles. Wisconsin is at a crossroads, with new rules and regulations making it harder for Wisconsinites to thrive. There is no better time to fight back than right now.”

Additional Background: Erin joins WILL after working in private practice as a civil defense attorney. She received her law degree from Marquette University Law School. She also served as a law clerk for WILL during her time at Marquette. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Portland.
