Milwaukee, WI — Today, the United States Supreme Court ruled that states can cut off Medicare funding to Planned Parenthood in a lawsuit between the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and Planned Parenthood South Atlantic.
In response, Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life, issued the following statement:
“This is a great step in the right direction to remove all funding from Planned Parenthood, who provides 400,000 abortions each year. Our taxpayer dollars should not fund an organization that terminates hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings in the womb year after year.”
