Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin Women’s Council has announced Jeanne Duffy as its newest Executive Director, effective June 30, 2025. She most recently served as the Executive Director for Serve Wisconsin, a 21-member citizen board appointed by the Governor which provides statewide training and resources for community service and volunteerism.
At Serve Wisconsin, Jeanne garnered support to further the program’s mission and objectives through collaboration with its governing board and through the fostering of meaningful working relationships with key stakeholders, including elected officials, the public, and Serve Wisconsin’s federal grantor.
Including her public service career, Jeanne brings to the Wisconsin Women’s Council 30 years of experience in community development, management, fundraising, lending and engaging people of all ages in service & philanthropy both domestically and internationally. Jeanne has a Master’s of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago.

The Wisconsin Women’s Council is Wisconsin’s statutory commission on the status of women and girls. The Council promotes initiatives that empower women, serve as a clearinghouse for information on programs and resources, conducts research, and promotes unique partnerships to address barriers and inequalities affecting Wisconsin women.
