WISCONSIN DELLS ā Following the election of Devin Remiker as the incoming chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, Chairman Ben Wikler released the following statement:
āIām thrilled to congratulate Devin Remiker on his election as the next chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. In Devin, the delegates to our state convention have chosen a leader, an innovator, a brilliant strategist, and a Democratic who understands to his core that we are strongest as a party when we join together, from every corner of the state, to fight for a future that lifts up working families.
āI also want to congratulate our newly-elected officers, First Vice Chair Sarah Godlewski and Second Vice-Chair Joshua Taylor, and returning officers Secretary Kim Butler and Treasurer Randy Udell. Their leadership, in partnership with Chair Remiker, will be instrumental in advancing the mission of our state party.
āI feel lucky to have the chance to pass the torch to someone so superbly prepared to lift our party up to new heights. Devinās work, often behind the scenes, has been pivotal in so many fights over the last decade. Now, he will lead the party to win a Democratic trifecta for the first time since 2008.
āItās been a tremendous honor to lead this party for the last six years, and Iām profoundly grateful to the thousands of volunteers, party leaders, staff members, allies, candidates, and elected officials who have poured their hearts and souls into our work. Devin will do them proud. Iāll be there to support him, and our party, every step of the way.ā
Chairman Wiklerās term comes to an official end on June 30th, 2025, and the new chairās term begins on July 1st.
