New WisDems Chair Devin Remiker sat down with WISN to discuss his goals for the party
MADISON, Wis. — New Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Devin Remiker sat down with WISN’s Matt Smith on Sunday to discuss his vision for the party. Remiker stated that he wants to build on the infrastructure he helped create with previous chair Ben Wikler, which helped win 10 of the last 13 state wide elections, secured a liberal majority on the state supreme court, and has put both lower chambers into play. In addition, he emphasized the importance of reaching out to voters in all corners of the state, saying he wants the party to work towards winning back the same working class voters he grew up with.

Remiker is a lifelong Wisconsinite, growing up in a working class family in Two Rivers, and graduating from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Devin began his career in politics 2012, and from there has become involved in every major political fight in the state. Most recently, Remiker was a key architect of The People v. Musk campaign, which negatively linked the Trump backed billionaire to the conservative supreme court candidate Brad Schimel. This was a key piece to the victorious Crawford campaign.
