More on Maria Lazar’s bizarre connections and a digital Tom Tiffany tantrum
MADISON, Wis. — Reporting this week from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel highlighted that Maria Lazar and Tom Tiffany attended a fundraising event with election-denier Michael Flynn. Flynn, who was Trump’s first national security advisor before he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI during Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, has resurrected his career as a right-wing QAnon grifter. Also in attendance at one Flynn event with Lazar was Michael Gableman, a disgraced former SCOWIS justice who similarly spread conspiracies about the 2020 election.

“Lazar also attended a Republican Women of Waukesha County “Defending America” fundraiser in Oconomowoc Oct. 23 featuring Flynn. Those in attendance included Michael Gableman, a former state Supreme Court justice who is facing a three-year suspension of his law license for misconduct during his fruitless investigation into Trump’s loss in the 2020 presidential race.”
As for Gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany, he and his camp had a meltdown that his involvement with these election deniers was being called out. As a reminder, Tom Tiffany voted to overturn the 2020 election in Pennsylvania and Arizona and would have voted to overturn Joe Biden’s victory in Wisconsin as well.
Here’s the Tiffany X meltdown: Dan O’Donnell, an accomplished right-wing conspiracy theorist, notes that Lazar and Tiffany faced criticism from Democrats over associating with a disgraced conspiracy theorist and then whines about not getting enough attention.
