MADISON, Wis. — Under the watch of Democrat State Superintendent Jill Underly, over 200 cases of teacher sexual misconduct and grooming in Wisconsin schools have been shamefully covered up by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), putting our children at risk. No Show Jill Underly has allowed predators to surrender licenses and evade real investigations, shielding them from public accountability.
This DPI disaster under Underly’s control is a betrayal of families, allowing a broken system where nearly half of the investigated educators keep their licenses to potentially harm more students. Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to give law enforcement tools to stop grooming and abuse, while Underly stands by, letting 93,000 Wisconsin kids remain at risk from educator misconduct.
In light of these revelations, questions must be raised about the endorsements Underly received during her campaign. Prominent Wisconsin Democrats, including candidates for Governor Francesca Hong and Kelda Roys, Representative Jenna Jacobson, Senator Jeff Smith, Representative Ryan Spaude, Senate Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein, Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer, State Senators Brad Pfaff, Bob Wirch, Melissa Ratcliff, Chris Larson, Kristin Alfheim, and LaTonya Johnson, as well as State Representatives such as Steve Doyle, Lisa Subeck, Christine Sinicki, and Deb Andraca, publicly backed Underly. Do these elected senators and representatives still stand by their endorsement of No Show Jill Underly, given her role in this scandal?
The majority of Wisconsin Democrats remain eerily silent on Underly’s DPI sexual misconduct cover-ups, proving they prioritize politics over protecting vulnerable kids in our classrooms.
