As State Senator Tom Tiffany Voted for a Massive Corporate Subsidy, Hiking Electric Rates for Consumers, Weakening Clean Water Protection, and Condemning Family Homes and Farmland

MADISON, Wis. — Some politicians are willing to say anything to try to win an election, regardless of what they’ve done or how they’ve voted. There’s ample evidence that Congressman Tom Tiffany, the MAGA Republican running for Wisconsin governor, is one of them. And there’s no better example of it than Tiffany’s vote for the Foxconn boondoggle according to A Better Wisconsin Together spokesperson Mike Browne.

Browne commented, “Congressman Tom Tiffany doesn’t just have a credibility gap, he has a credibility chasm. He voted to give away the farm, literally, and much more, with his support for the Foxconn boondoggle.”

Browne noted the specifics of what Tiffany the legislator voted for in the Foxconn bill is completely at odds with the rhetoric of Tiffany the candidate when it comes to big tech data centers.

He concluded, “This guy, Congressman Tiffany, continues to show he’ll say anything to try to win an election. Unfortunately for him, it’s easy for Wisconsin voters to continue to see that what he says isn’t what he’s done.”
