Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin has launched a new digital ad campaign backing GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany, vowing he will make a “more affordable Wisconsin.”

The group said it’s part of a six-figure buy that will run on streaming and digital platforms. The group is also engaged in grassroots efforts backing Tiffany’s campaign.

The narrator in the spot says property taxes are already going to increase for 400 straight years, but “the liberals running for governor won’t stop there.” Their proposed mandates also would increase electric bills by $2,700 a year.

The narrator then says Tiffany “will fight for you,” eliminating the 400-year property taxes increase and lowering energy costs “for families, farmers and main street.”
