[Wausau, WI] — Michael Alfonso’s campaign for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District announced today that it has raised more than $600,000 in the first quarter of 2026, setting the record for fundraising by a non-incumbent Republican in this district.

Alfonso also received notable endorsements this quarter – President Donald J. Trump, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, and many grassroots leaders from across Wisconsin and the country.

This quarter’s success reflects broad support, from both grassroots supporters in WI-07 and leaders across the nation, underscoring the enthusiasm for Alfonso’s candidacy and his campaign to put America and Wisconsin first.

“The first quarter of 2026 shows strong momentum for Michael Alfonso’s campaign,” said senior campaign advisor Max Docksey. “It’s clear that people across Wisconsin and across the country are energized by Michael’s America First candidacy. Voters know he’s fighting for them and that he will work with President Trump to grow our economy, keep our borders secure, and fight back against the woke Left.”

Alfonso’s campaign emphasized that this fundraising milestone is less about headlines and more about readiness. As the campaign moves into its next phase, Alfonso will continue traveling the district, meeting with voters, and focusing on the issues that matter most to working families, small businesses, and rural communities throughout Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District.
