The following is a statement from Mandela Barnes after a three-judge panel dismissed a challenge to Wisconsin’s unfair congressional maps:
“On day one of this campaign, I called for redrawing Wisconsin’s congressional maps. We are a 50-50 state, yet our rigged maps lead us to a congressional delegation of six to two.
“Donald Trump is redrawing maps across the country to lock in power for himself and his billionaire allies.
“When I am Governor, I will use every tool in the toolbox to redraw our congressional maps and ensure Wisconsin gets the fair representation we deserve.”
