Rhinelander, WI — Congressional candidate Niina Baum will embark on her “400 Miles Through Wisconsin: Biking for the People” tour beginning July 8, traveling by bicycle from Rhinelander to Superior as part of a multi-community listening tour across Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District.

The tour will provide Baum with the opportunity to meet directly with residents, business owners, community leaders, elected officials, and local organizations to better understand the opportunities and challenges facing communities throughout northern Wisconsin. Stops along the route will include communities such as Manitowish Waters, Park Falls, Mellen, Hayward, Cable, Ashland, and several others before concluding in Superior.

“The best way to represent the people of northern Wisconsin is to spend time with them, listen to their concerns, and learn about the issues that matter most in their daily lives,” said Baum. “This tour is about building relationships, hearing firsthand from residents, and gaining a deeper understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of each community across the district. Biking allows me to slow down and really get to know each community more intimately than just stopping in for an event.”

Throughout the journey, Baum will visit local businesses, community organizations, economic development initiatives, and civic leaders. The purpose of these visits is to listen, learn, and build stronger connections throughout the district while highlighting the people and organizations working to strengthen their communities. The Pedaling for the People Tour reflects Baum’s commitment to accessibility, grassroots engagement, and ensuring that every corner of the district has a voice in the conversations shaping its future.

Community members interested in meeting with Baum during the tour or learning more about upcoming stops are encouraged to follow campaign updates and event announcements throughout July.
