Milwaukee, WI – One week out from the August 11 primary, Joel Brennan is closing strong. Today the campaign released its final television ad, “Stand Out” — a direct, personal closing argument from Brennan himself about who he is, why he’s running, and what’s at stake.

In a primary that’s had its final weeks be anything but boring, Brennan cuts through the noise and speaks straight to Wisconsin voters. He grew up one of eleven kids, worked odd jobs to put himself through college, and spent 25 years getting things done for businesses and nonprofits across this state. Now he’s asking for Wisconsin’s vote to take on Donald Trump, lower costs, and make sure every Wisconsin family can afford to call this state home.

Brennan was the first Democrat in this race to go on air, and is making sure Wisconsin voters hear from him in the final stretch.

VO: In a chaotic race for governor, one candidate stands out with experience, vision, and who recognizes what’s at stake.

JOEL BRENNAN: I’m Joel Brennan. I grew up with 10 siblings, worked odd jobs to pay for college, but being short on resources didn’t stop me. I led businesses and nonprofits. Now I’m running for governor to take on Trump and lower costs so we can all afford to call Wisconsin home. Joel Brennan, a governor who will win for us.
