Joel Brennan today debuted a second ad in his statewide, six-figure television ad buy.
In the 30-second spot, the 56-year-old, 6-foot-2-inch Brennan faces off against his 19-year-old, 6-foot-7-inch son, Conor, in a game of pickup basketball.
“Some matchups seem unfair,” the narrator intones. “But it’s all about the right strategy.”
The elder Brennan tells viewers he has “real plans to move Wisconsin forward” before the narrator rattles off Brennan’s plans to expand BadgerCare, protect Wisconsin from “Trump’s chaos,” block corporations from buying up homes, and increase school funding – as the former Department of Administration secretary makes a series of three-pointers and bats down a layup from his son.

“The competition can try their flashy moves, but I’m ready to lead Wisconsin on day one,” Brennan says.
“You still got it, Dad,” Conor adds.
