In her latest ad, 3rd CD Dem challenger Rebecca Cooke chats with a brewery owner about her “willingness to fight.”
The 30-second spot is running in the La Crosse and Eau Claire media markets. AdImpact has now tracked over $15 million in spending by Cooke and her backers.
The ad begins with imagery of a beer being poured and a canning line, followed by the introduction of Will, who says he’s a small business owner and a Marine veteran.
Will says he spent $10,000 saved up from his deployment to start his brewery. He tells Cooke that she as a small business owner “knows how hard it is to get things up and running.”

In the ad, Cooke tells Will, “People want to see folks that are going to deliver for our local economies and put money back in people’s pockets.”
Cooke is facing a rematch against incumbent U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Prairie du Chien. Van Orden narrowly defeated Cooke in 2024.
“I’m not a Democrat, I’m not a Republican, one of the things I appreciate about you is that I don’t agree with you on everything, but I know that you’re willing to fight,” Will says to Cooke.
