OAK CREEK, Wis. – Today, Senator Tammy Baldwin announced her endorsement of Dan Bukiewicz for the Wisconsin 21st Assembly District, calling him the champion working families need in Madison.

“I am proud to endorse Dan Bukiewicz for State Assembly,” said Senator Baldwin. “I have worked closely with Dan to protect our Great Lakes shoreline and ensure access to clean water for residents across the district.”

“Whether he is at the bargaining table, fighting for fair contracts for workers, or serving the people of Oak Creek, Dan has always been on the side of working Wisconsinites,” Baldwin added. “Dan has a track record of delivering for the people he works for, and I have no doubt he will do the same in the Assembly to lower costs for families and businesses, keep our community safe, and support Wisconsin’s public schools. I encourage every voter in the 21st Assembly District to cast their ballot for Dan Bukiewicz in the August 11 primary.”

“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Senator Tammy Baldwin,” said Bukiewicz. “Senator Baldwin has been a fierce advocate for working families and fighting for Wisconsin in Washington. She is a great example of what servant leadership looks like and I am humbled to have her support.”

Senator Baldwin joins U.S. Representative Gwen Moore, Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer, the Wisconsin AFL-CIO, and more than 40 state and local leaders and unions in endorsing Dan Bukiewicz for Wisconsin State Assembly District 21.
