MADISON, Wis. – Judge Lyndsey Brunette has announced the support of Larry Martin, the former executive director of the State Bar of Wisconsin, for her campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court.

“Wisconsin’s legal community depends on a Supreme Court that upholds the rule of law and treats every person who comes before it with fairness and respect. Judge Lyndsey Brunette has demonstrated those values throughout her career as a prosecutor, as a circuit court judge, and as a leader in her community,” said Larry Martin. “Wisconsinites know how much the integrity of our courts matters, and I’m proud to support a candidate who has earned the trust of her colleagues and the people she serves.”

Wisconsinites have rallied around her announcement and the opportunity to reinforce a pro-freedom, pro-democracy majority on the Court. Last week Brunette announced an initial list of 24 current and retired judges who are supporting her campaign, along with former Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton, and State Senator Jamie Wall.

Brunette has been a Clark County Circuit Court judge since 2018. Before joining the bench, she was first elected as a Democrat to serve as Clark County district attorney in 2012, becoming the first woman to hold that position.
