MILWAUKEE, Wis., Feb. 19, 2026 — Chorus Community Health Plans (CCHP), an affiliate of Children’s Wisconsin, has expanded its services to 68 of the 72 counties in Wisconsin, a major step forward in its work to be available throughout the state.

“High-quality health care coverage focused on whole-person and long-term wellness is rare and we are excited that more people will be able to benefit from it through better access,” said Mark Rakowski, president of CCHP. “At Chorus, we truly believe that health insurance has the power to change lives and are proud that we have been supporting families for the past 20 years. This expansion will allow us to positively impact more individuals and communities across the state.”

While members began benefitting from this expansion right away in 2026, the team at CCHP has been working behind the scenes to make it possible for the past year. Ultimately, this work supports the Children’s Wisconsin vision that Wisconsin’s kids will be the healthiest in the nation. Continuing to advance that vision and the CCHP strategic plan, the team is working with providers and health systems to increase the service area to the remaining four Wisconsin counties located on the western edge of the state — Burnett, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix — for 2027.

Previous counties covered: Adams, Brown, Calumet, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Dodge, Door, Eau Claire, Fond Du Lac, Grant, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Jefferson, Juneau, Kenosha, Kewaunee, Lafayette, Manitowoc, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Milwaukee, Oconto, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Portage, Racine, Richland, Rock, Sauk, Shawano, Sheboygan, Vernon, Walworth, Washington, Waukesha, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago
