Congressional Leadership Fund ad says Berman a ‘liberal prescription for disaster’

The GOP-aligned Congressional Leadership Fund’s first ad in the 1st CD knocks Dem Mitchell Berman as a “liberal prescription for disaster.”

The group has now moved nearly $3 million into the race between Berman, an emergency room nurse, and U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Janesville, after dropping buys in other House races.

The new spot plays clips of Berman talking about being a nurse before saying, “Let’s get a second opinion.”

The narrator says Berman is bankrolled by the radical left, supports free taxpayer-funded healthcare for “illegals” and wants to raise taxes on working families to pay for it.

The narrator closes the ad, “Mitchell Berman, a liberal prescription for disaster.”
