Congressional Leadership Fund ad says Cooke ‘pals around with the defund the police crowd’

A new spot from the GOP-aligned Congressional Leadership Fund says “Radical Rebecca” spends time with “the ‘defund the police’ crowd.”

The 30-second spot is running in the Eau Claire, La Crosse and Wausau media markets.

The ad begins by showing a portrait of Dem 3rd CD candidate Rebecca Cooke on an armchair in the middle of a field.

“Rebecca Cooke knows how to pose but zoom out and the picture changes. Radical Rebecca pals around with the defund the police crowd,” the narrator says.

The ad continues on to show Cooke pictured with former Dem Lt. Gov Mandela Barnes and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont.

The narrator goes on to say Cooke calls federal law enforcement policy “disgusting” and that she supports amnesty and welfare for illegal immigrants.

“More for them, less for you. Because for Radical Rebecca, the pose is fake but the radical is real,” the narrator says.
