A new ad from the Congressional Leadership Fund warns 1st CD Dem candidate Mitchell Berman “is coming for your money.”
It’s the second spot from the CLF targeting Berman, who is challenging incumbent U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Janesville. The group has reserved $3.3 million in ad time in the 1st CD between the Aug. 11 primary and Election Day.
“Mitchell Berman is coming for your money,” the narrator intones in the 30-second spot. “And the harder you work, the more he wants government to take.”
Berman wants higher taxes on seniors and working families so the government can give “endless freebies to illegal immigrants,” the narrator says.
The narrator doubles down on this point, saying Berman wants to give “free healthcare and other benefits to illegals.”
“Liberal Mitchell Berman: You’ll work harder so others don’t have to,” the spot closes.
