EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. — Earlier this week, Rebecca Cooke, candidate for Congress in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District, announced her first ad of the 2026 cycle, “Living Proof.” This is the first television ad from any candidate in the Third Congressional District. “Living Proof” highlights Rebecca’s lived experiences growing up on a dairy farm, working as a waitress, and running a small business – and how that background equips her to stand up to a Washington establishment that’s selling out everyday families.

“Washington is failing us,” said Rebecca Cooke. “The lower costs we were promised are nowhere to be seen, while we’re stuck spending money on needless wars and giving tax breaks to billionaires. All while gas prices continue to rise and hospitals stay closed. We deserve so much more than the scraps Derrick Van Orden and the politicians in D.C. are throwing us.”

“Living Proof” is airing with a six-figure spend behind it in the La Crosse/Eau Claire and Wausau media markets, as well as across digital channels. This comes on top of a $3,000,000 reservation the Cooke Campaign has already placed for the General Election.

Transcript:

You don’t have to look too far to see living proof of Washington’s failures.

It’s endless money for foreign wars and nothing but increased costs for hardworking families.

I grew up on a dairy farm, ran a small business, and wait tables to pay the bills.

I fight for people. It’s why I refuse corporate cash and I won’t trade any stocks in Congress.

We need more working class folks to represent us in DC that’ll stand up to special interests.

I’m Rebecca Cooke and I approve this message.
