NEW FRANKEN, WI — Following yesterday’s Wisconsin Ethics Commission reporting deadline, First Senate District Candidate Nic Cravillion announced that his campaign reported $75,911.82 in contributions during its initial reporting period. The campaign received strong early support from families, community leaders and small business owners throughout Northeast Wisconsin, many of whom reside within the district and are first-time political donors.

The campaign reported nearly double the total contributions of its closest Republican opponent, establishing Cravillion as an early financial frontrunner heading into the August 11 primary.

“The support our campaign has received means more to me than I can put into words,” said Cravillion. “This is the community that raised me, and to have so many people place their trust snd confidence in me is incredibly humbling. My family and I invested in this campaign because we believe in what’s at stake for Wisconsin families, and I’m deeply grateful that so many others have chosen to stand with us.”

Cravillion currently serves as the District Director for State Senator André Jacque. He is an Army combat veteran and continues to serve in the Wisconsin Army National Guard.

The campaign ended the reporting period with more than $62,000 cash on hand, providing a solid foundation heading into the August 11 Republican primary. Along with its fundraising success, the campaign has earned endorsements from the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association, Pro-Life Wisconsin, and Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski, as well as an AQ rating from the National Rifle Association.

“I look forward to building an effort focused on addressing the affordability crisis facing Wisconsin families, reducing the tax burden on our residents, and delivering common-sense solutions to the challenges facing our communities,” said Cravillion.
