| NEW FRANKEN, WI — Nic Cravillion, Republican candidate for Wisconsin’s First Senate District, has received the endorsement of Manitowoc County Sheriff Daniel Hartwig. Hartwig has served as Manitowoc County Sheriff since 2019, following a career with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office that began in 1998 as a reserve deputy. Over the years, he served as a patrol deputy, sergeant, lieutenant, and night shift commander before being elected Sheriff. “I am proud to endorse Nic Cravillion for Wisconsin State Senate,” said Manitowoc County Sheriff Daniel Hartwig. “Nic supports law enforcement and understands that safe communities depend on giving our officers the support they need. His military service, commitment to public service, and Northeast Wisconsin roots give me confidence that he will serve the people of Manitowoc County well.” “I’m grateful to Sheriff Hartwig for his endorsement and his service to the people of Manitowoc County,” said Cravillion. “Our law enforcement officers play an important role in keeping our families and communities safe. They deserve the resources, training, and support necessary to do their jobs effectively. As State Senator, I look forward to working with Sheriff Hartwig and law enforcement leaders throughout Northeast Wisconsin to address the public safety needs of our communities.” Cravillion was born and raised in New Franken, where he now lives with his family on their seventh-generation homestead. An Army combat veteran, he has served in the military for more than 15 years, including a deployment to Afghanistan, and continues to serve as a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve. For nearly six years, Cravillion has served Northeast Wisconsin as State Senator André Jacque’s District Director, helping constituents and working closely with local governments and community leaders. Hartwig joins Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain and Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski in endorsing Cravillion for State Senate. The general election will be held Tuesday, November 3rd.
