MADISON – State Representative and Assembly Democratic Caucus Chair Lisa Subeck today endorsed David Crowley for Governor of Wisconsin. Representative Subeck has served in the Wisconsin State Assembly since January 2015, representing parts of the City of Madison in the 79th District. She was elected Chair of the Assembly Democratic Caucus in 2022.
“I served with David Crowley in the Wisconsin State Legislature, so I know firsthand that he is the leader Wisconsin needs right now because he brings people together, delivers results, and always fights for working families,” said Representative Subeck. “I’m proud to endorse David for Governor because he’ll work to make life more affordable, strengthen our public schools, and build an economy where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.”
Representative Subeck’s endorsement adds to the growing momentum behind Crowley’s campaign following endorsements from Governor Tony Evers, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, State Senator Melissa Ratcliff, labor unions, and mayors and local elected officials from across the state.
“During my time serving in the Wisconsin State Legislature, I worked with Representative Subeck and Assembly Democrats to support Wisconsin’s workforce, advocate for criminal justice reform, and make our communities safer, stronger, and healthier,” Crowley said. “Our campaign continues to gain support in communities across the state. We have the momentum to not only defeat Tom Tiffany in November, but win majorities in the Assembly and State Senate so Democrats can deliver results for Wisconsin working families. Let’s get to work.”
