MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Today, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, candidate for Governor of Wisconsin, announced his campaign’s first statewide broadcast ad buy of the primary. Beginning today, the ad will air on television statewide as part of a six-figure ad buy.

The ad demonstrates how the Crowley for Governor campaign continues to show growing momentum. This week, Crowley has announced endorsements from Governor Tony Evers, the Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council, The Next 50, Sheboygan Mayor Ryan Sorenson, Waukesha Mayor Alicia Halvensleben, and Wauwatosa Mayor Dennis McBride.

“This campaign is about making sure every Wisconsinite has a fair shot at success, no matter where they live or what challenges they face,” said County Executive Crowley. “Getting our message out to voters across Wisconsin is critical because the stakes couldn’t be higher. We need to defeat Tom Tiffany in November and move our state forward with leadership that brings people together – not divide us. I believe I’m the best candidate to do just that, and I look forward to sharing my vision for a Wisconsin where we invest in working families, strengthen our schools, grow our economy, and ensure every community has the opportunity to thrive.”

David Crowley is the Milwaukee County Executive and the first African American and youngest person elected to that office. Raised in Milwaukee in a union household, he has balanced billion dollar budgets, delivered the largest property tax cut in county history, added over 1,000 units of affordable housing in 6 years, including suburban communities for the first time, and cut opioid deaths in half. He has won every race for the Legislature and County Executive.

The Democratic primary is August 11, 2026. Learn more at crowleyforwi.com. View Crowley’s new ad here.
