MILWAUKEE, Wis. — MAGA extremist Congressman Tom Tiffany did not show up to vote  when Congress voted on recent sweeping affordable housing legislation on three separate occasions.

Crowley’s Plan:

  • Increase Supply: Build more housing statewide by streamlining permitting, expanding the skilled construction workforce, and providing greater flexibility around multi-family housing (especially in-law suites).
  • Expand Ownership: Expand down-payment assistance, prohibit corporations from buying up all our starter homes, and strengthen eviction prevention.
  • Keep People in their Homes: Provide property-tax relief for seniors and working families, while expanding weatherization and home repair programs.

Fact: Under Crowley’s leadership, Milwaukee County has built over 1,000 affordable housing units across seven municipalities and invested $6 million to develop more than 100 affordable homes in Milwaukee’s King Park neighborhood.
