MENASHA, Wis. – Today, County Executive David Crowley, Democratic nominee for governor, visited with leaders at the Multicultural Coalition and People of Progression in Menasha to highlight his plans to expand healthcare for working families and discuss priority issues in the community including disaster relief.
“Community healthcare centers like the one I visited today are suffering because Congressmen like Tom Tiffany are more focused on taking away healthcare from Wisconsinites than properly funding it,” said Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Crowley. “I know that a healthy community means a healthy economy. That’s why as governor, I am going to make sure local healthcare facilities have the funding they need to serve their community and are prepared for whatever crisis may come their way.”
Crowley’s healthcare plan includes expanding BadgerCare so more Wisconsin families can access affordable coverage, implementing a No Wrong Door model of care statewide, and investing in healthy kids, families, and communities by keeping care local. Meanwhile, MAGA extremist Tom Tiffany has voted in Congress to defund health services for thousands of Wisconsinites.
