MADISON, WI — Dane County Executive Melissa Agard today announced her endorsement of a slate of community-focused candidates in the upcoming Spring Election, urging voters to elect leaders who will put communities first and get things done.
Agard’s endorsements include:
- Judge Chris Taylor for Wisconsin State Supreme Court
- Judge Ben Jones for Dane County Circuit Court, Branch 1
- Mayor Julia Arata-Fratta for Fitchburg Mayor
- Mayor Emily Kuhn for Middleton Mayor
- Supervisor Erin Welsh for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 7
- Supervisor Tommy Rylander for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 12
- Supervisor Amy Larson for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 15
- Paula Brandmeier for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 20
- Gussie Lewis for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 22
- Supervisor Lisa Jackson for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 26
- Supervisor Michele Doolan for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 28
- Supervisor Patrick Downing for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 30
- Councilman Donald Dantzler for Dane County Board of Supervisors, District 33
“At a time when local leadership matters more than ever, these candidates are ready to step up and get to work,” said Agard. “They understand our communities, they share our values, and they’re committed to delivering real results for the people they serve.”
Agard emphasized that the Spring Election will shape decisions which directly affect public safety, local services, and the strength of all Dane County municipalities.
“Who we elect this spring will have a real impact on our neighborhoods and our future,” Agard said. “I’m proud to stand with leaders who will fight for strong public services, responsible government, and opportunities that reach every corner of our communities.”
