A new Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee spot says Rebecca Cooke will “listen to the people rather than special interests.”
In the 30-second spot, a mom identified as Rebecca – not Cooke – tells viewers she was thinking about having another child before she found out the labor and delivery unit at her local hospital had closed.
“Derrick Van Orden has voted to make huge cuts to Medicare and to Medicaid, which puts hospitals at greater risk of closing or reducing services,” Rebecca says. “It’s not putting access to healthcare as a priority.”
“Rebecca Cooke will listen to the people rather than special interests,” the other Rebecca concludes.
