After months of doing nothing to extend ACA tax credits as they expired and costs skyrocketed for Wisconsinites, Derrick Van Orden’s campaign website still lists his true priority: repealing the Affordable Care Act.

WKOW reports that Van Orden’s website “says one of his campaign priorities is to fully repeal Obamacare, a common term used for the Affordable Care Act.”

WATCH ON WKOW:

WKOW: “That includes Wisconsin Republican Derrick Van Orden, who previously criticized the [Affordable Care Act] subsidies.”

WKOW: “Van Orden’s vote yesterday to extend ACA subsidies is the opposite of one of the positions he’s campaigning on right now. I took this screenshot from his website this morning. It says one of his campaign priorities is to fully repeal Obamacare, a common term used for the Affordable Care Act.”

DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Wisconsinites know that Derrick Van Orden wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act and rip their health care away, because it’s literally written on his website. Van Orden is to blame for Wisconsin families’ health care costs skyrocketing and no political stunts will save him from losing his seat this November.”
