WISCONSIN – Following the final counting of Tuesday’s primary votes, the Democracy Defense Foundation – WI Board including former Attorney General JB Van Hollen, Former Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, Former U.S. Rep. Scott Klug and Former Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Mike Tate released the following statement:
“Wisconsin elections are built to beat fraud, however it is clear if we continue to do the same things, we will continue to feed the conspiracies. It is crucial we acknowledge the efforts of elections workers to administer free and secure elections while openly and honestly evaluating our processes to take away all doubt that can be cast on the process. Whether through processing ballots prior to Election Day, shifting to true early voting rather than absentee in person, or any other vehicle to remove the consistent problem areas that create doubt in our process, we must come to the table in a bipartisan way or else continue the same refrains we’ve heard for years election after election
