WASHINGTON—Today, the DLCC announced nine new Target Races in Wisconsin as we aim to flip both chambers of the legislature. These six Assembly targets and three Senate targets are among the most crucial and competitive races in the nation, and they build on earlier targets in Wisconsin announced in April.

Wisconsin was one of the worst gerrymandered states in the country, but after new maps paved the way for 14 flips last cycle, Democrats need to flip just five Assembly seats and two Senate seats to control the legislature for the first time in over a decade. The DLCC is working directly with the Wisconsin Democratic Caucuses and Target Race candidates to deliver support and resources for data, research, polling, paid communication, and direct voter contact. The DLCC has an ambitious Target Map to capitalize on this once-in-a-generation opportunity to regain control of the Wisconsin legislature and shift the balance of power nationwide.
