Dept. of Natural Resources: Closes Newville Boat Launch along the Rock River due to flooding

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has closed the Newville boat launch in Rock County, effectively immediately.

High water levels on the Rock River have made this launch unsafe to use, and members of the public should avoid visiting the launch until water levels recede. The launch will reopen once river conditions allow.
