MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced Inland Label & Marketing Services, LCC – Neenah, WI (Inland) was accepted into the Green Tier program. The facility, located at 2442 Progress Court, Neenah, WI has joined as a Tier 1 participant and becomes a member of a select group of organizations that are committed to environmental leadership.
Tier 1 of Green Tier encourages, recognizes and rewards companies committed to improved environmental outcomes. As a Tier 1 participant, Inland has implemented an environmental management system to help embed sustainability into its decision-making strategy.
Inland’s acceptance into the program was celebrated today with a small gathering at their facility. “The DNR is excited to partner with Inland on our shared mission to protect the environment,” said Connie Antonuk, DNR Secretary’s Director for Northeast Wisconsin. “We welcome them into the program and look forward to supporting their ongoing sustainability initiatives and highlighting your milestones. Your work to prioritize environmental responsibility drives meaningful operational success.”
Inland specializes in manufacturing labels and packaging for food, beverage and consumer products. Moving forward, the organization will continue its efforts to reduce landfill waste, energy use and volatile organic compound emissions, as well as begin working toward measuring and reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.
