Work to resurface I-39 between US 12/18 (Beltline) and Lien Road in Madison, Dane County is scheduled to resume on Monday, April 6, 2026. Other remaining improvements include shoulder work and permanent pavement markings.

Motorists can expect to encounter nighttime lane closures.

Construction is currently scheduled for completion in early summer. The construction schedule is based on favorable weather conditions and construction status.
