The Democratic Governors Association is up with a new TV ad knocking Republican Tom Tiffany for voting to cut Social Security and wanting to raise the retirement age.

The new ad from the DGA’s Protect Our Wisconsin affiliate opens with a woman identified as Cindy from Greenfield. She recounts working 46 years as a nurse while raising three kids as she says Social Security “isn’t extra money for me,” but what she uses for groceries, medicine and gas money to see her grandkids.

She says Tiffany, a GOP congressman from Minocqua, voted to cut Social Security services and Medicare while wanting to raise the Social Security retirement age.

“Why? That’s my money,” she says to close the spot. “I paid into the system. I just can’t afford Tom Tiffany’s MAGA agenda.”
