A new spot in the 3rd CD says U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Prairie du Chien, will support Wisconsin racetracks.
The 30-second spot, from Driving Force Action will run on broadcast and digital platforms. The campaign is a part of a six-figure buy across three states, with $50,000 being spent in Wisconsin.
Driving Force Action is a super PAC out of D.C. established by the Specialty Equipment Market Association and the Performance Racing Industry.
The ad introduces Gregg Makarns, owner of Madison International Speedway, who says the racing industry provides billions of dollars of economic impact and employs over 300,000 Americans.
“That’s why it matters that we elect lawmakers who understand what racetracks really contribute. That’s why I’m supporting Derrick Van Orden for Congress,” Makarns says.
