EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (July 13, 2026) — The Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce will launch its new Ballot Brief podcast series on Monday, July 13, providing Chippewa Valley voters with the opportunity to hear directly from each of the six Democratic candidates seeking
their party’s nomination for governor ahead of the August 11 primary election.
Hosted by the Chamber’s Director of Advocacy, Erica Bodden, this nonpartisan series features individual interviews with all six Democratic gubernatorial candidates. Each candidate was asked similar questions, relevant to their backgrounds and expertise. Topics covered include data centers, workforce, economic growth, housing, education, healthcare, business environment, Wisconsin competitiveness, and more.
“One of the most important roles the Chamber plays is creating opportunities for our investors and the community to better understand the issues and the individuals seeking to lead our state,” said Dave Minor, President & CEO of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. “The Ballot Brief is not about politics or endorsements, it’s about access, information, and meaningful conversations. We want voters to hear directly from the candidates on the issues impacting the Chippewa Valley.”
The Chamber does not endorse candidates for public office. Episodes will be released on Monday, July 13 on the Chamber’s website and major podcast platforms. The Ballot Brief series is presented by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce with support from media sponsor HomeTech by Mosaic.
