ATHENS, WI – At Miltrim Farms today, executive director of Venture Dairy Cooperative, Kim Bremmer, announced her group’s endorsement of Jessi Ebben, candidate for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District.

“Jessi is the common sense candidate for farmers. She has already gone up against the Washington bureaucracy, successfully stopping costly and heavy-handed regulations from taking effect. She understands the challenges Wisconsin farmers face, the poisonous political agendas working against us, and the need to get the government out of the way for us to thrive.

“Jessi will fight for Wisconsin farmers in Washington and work to reduce the regulatory threats to our success. She is ready for the job and has our complete support,” Bremmer announced.

Venture Dairy Cooperative supports Wisconsin dairy farmers by positively affecting policy at the state and local levels, improving public perception of agriculture, and protecting the overall use of technology and innovation in the agriculture industry. The group works with legislators, their staff, and key statewide business allies to combat unnecessary regulations, reduce government bureaucracy and advance smart policy to support the future of dairy farmers.

“It is an honor to be a trusted partner in Venture Dairy Cooperative’s mission to deliver pro-agriculture policies. Farming is a critical part of our way of life here in Wisconsin and I will do everything I can to strengthen our agricultural heritage for not only dairy farmers, but also for farmers of beef, hog, poultry, cash crops and more. In Congress, I will use my experience fighting costly red tape and burdensome regulations to empower farmers to run their businesses with more freedom and less government interference,” stated Ebben.
